Color Bearers on the 1864 Tennessee Campaign

November 15 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The November program will be presented by David Fraley. He spent 18 years as a historian, currator, and interim director of the Carter House in Franklin, Tennessee. He has appeared on A & E’s “Civil War Journal’s Combat Series: Battle of Franklin” and on the Emmy-nominated documentary “Tennessee’s Titanic: the Sultana Tragedy.” His research focuses on the 1864 Tennessee Campaign. Semi-retired, he still occasionally conducts battlefield tours and lectures on the War Between the States.

His presentation will concern the various designs and makers of the colors on the 1864 Tennessee Campaign, on both sides, and those who carried them in battle.
